I purchased this fan to use for “white noise” when I sleep. I couldn’t have made a better purchase! It is LOUD. For me, this is a selling feature. It has a very powerful fan that kicks air out with force. IF you do not want the noise, do not order this little guy. But for those of us who use them for white noise, the included feet ensure it stands up right on carpet, and the reversible “exhaust fan” feature allows you to keep the heavy output to the wall, so as not to freeze you out of your room in winter. I’m very pleased.
