For starters, these LEDs come with long leads that are easily bendable. They are marked on the underside to show and -I have worked w electronics for many years and was able to solder in place without much trouble. This might be a somewhat challenging but doable project for a beginner. The issues are bending the leads to mimic the center height of the factory bulbs. (Where the filament of the bulb sits) Someneedlenose pliers will make that task alot easier. (Grab the straight lead w the pliers at the base of the LED PCB, then bend 90 degrees.) Sit the bent leads across the solder pads on the gauge cluster PCB to mark where to cut the additional length off. A sharpie is best. One more thing… after soldering them in look straight across the gauge cluster PCB at the angle of the LED’s. Make them parallel with the gauge cluster PCB. (Almost all of mine were angled and should be flat, aiming straight upwards) You could try to re-solder, but think it best to grab one of the legs w pliers and gently move it so the top of the LED is not skewed at an angle. Have a little patience, take your time, and results will be worth the effort.
