I provide meals for my elderly parents, and it is convenient to split a 9×13 casserole into two 8×8 pans, serving one and freezing one for later. I’ve tried different brands of 8×8 glass pans, but they either weren’t true 8×8, were shaped too awkwardly to store or stack easily, were difficult to clean…I was excited to try these pans when I saw them. I put them through their paces with sticky cinnamon rolls, thick layered lasagnas and other cheesy and starchy recipes. These pans DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I can confirm the following:– true 8×8″– heats evenly– NOTHING sticks; clean up is a breeze– lightweight– nestles together for easy storage but does not create a vacuum that makes it impossible to separate (if you know you know)– wide top edge makes it easy to transfer pans in and out of oven/refrigerator/freezerThe following is true of ALL coated non-stick cookware and is not a deficiency in this product but should be noted:– metal/sharp edges WILL scratch the non-stick surface– NOTHING will stick to the non-stick surface to include cling and press plastic wraps.
